Some say I'm a man's man because I lust after gadgets and gizmos and trip on technology. But, in reality, I simply compensate for the happiness I cannot get from life with material pleasures. I guess at some point in life or another, at some level or another, we all do the same. Or maybe, it's just me.

I wish life had subtitles. I wish it would offer an explanation, justify its moves, publish an itinerary. Since it doesn't, I guess I'll have to plunge into its dark recesses and look for it all myself. You coming?

Since I have to be all pseudo-intellectual about this, just read a quote by Nietzsche that said that excesses occur, not because of having too little, but rather because of having too much. I think he meant it in terms of that feeling you get when you seem to have everything but actually feel like you have nothing.
Or something.
